Hi, my name is Dani, more commonly known online as Risha. I've been drawing most of my life. I started drawing anthropomorphic characters around 1999, which is what this gallery mostly consists of. Since 2011, I've been moving away from anthropomorphic characters and drawing more animal (or feral) characters (especially dragons and my little bunny hybrid Poink) and My Little Pony fancharacters. I still draw other things such as still lives and the like, but I tend not to submit those online. I also do photography as a hobby when I have time.

I graduated from a community college in 2008 with a general transfer degree and an associates in Graphic Design (which I later decided I didn't want to study anymore). I graduated from the University of Central Florida in May of 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.

I've been dating my boyfriend, Adam, for over 11 years. We got engaged in December of 2009. ^^ He is the love of my life and my best friend, so he is frequently mentioned throughout my user page.



I am obsessed with my three Alaskan Klee Kai and talk about them often. Their names are: Ookami no Kokoro (Kokoro for short, which means "heart" in Japanese), Cinna (short for Cinnamon or Cinnabon (and I also like the Hunger Games character. lol)), and Amaruq (which means "wolf" in Inuktitut).

In general, I only fav pieces drawn for me. The reason for this is that when I originally joined dA, I got yelled at for +faving things without commenting, so now I just fav what's for me and (rarely) pieces that I find particular spectacular.

I am horrible at commenting, so I apologize in advance. If I don't comment on something you've draw for me, that doesn't mean I don't like it...that just means that I'm busy and forgetful.

I love to do trades and collabs with people.
I don't do requests.
I am not currently holding a contest or kiriban.
I am not sure if I am taking commissions right now. It's been awhile and I want to rethink my offerings and prices.

Interests (besides art): Squirrels!, Dragons, Dogs (especially beagles and alaskan klee kai), wolves, animals in general, reading, and video games.
I Collect: Rubber ducks, Pokemon cards (and other Pokemon things), My Little Pony merchandise (especially from Gen 3 and 4), and blank Target giftcards that have the Bullseye dog on them.
Favourite cartoon character: Zero, GIR, Squee, Hiei, Dodger, Kovu, Kakashi, Kisuke Urahara, Renji, Kenpachi, Grimmjow Jeagerjaques, and many others. I also like Digimon (Yomato (Matt) Ishida and any of the Garurumon line) and Pokemon (too many to list by my top two favs are Mew and Houndoom (especially the shiny versions of both).
