Kouri Sketches

I don't agree with selling puppies at pet stores, but occassionally I feel bad for them so I go in to play with one. About a year ago, I met a tiny Shiba Inu puppy. She was adorable and HYPER. While playing with her, she was litterally bouncing off the walls trying to reach the top of the door. I jokingly told my fiance that she would be good at parkour. I decided that she would make a neat character, so I sketched these soon after. Her name is Kouri. She was originally going to be a tri-colored Shiba Inu, but she'll most likely end up being a combination of Klee Kai and Shiba Inu since I will probably use photos of my Klee Kai as references for poses when I draw her. Haven't decided on markings yet.

I can't find it now, but at one point when I was looking up alternate spellings of the name Corey, I ended up finding a descirption that had something to do with nature. I decided that Kouri might be a tree dweller using her parkour skills to leap from tree to tree.
